A Matter of Seconds (1953)

Another very short story writer for This Week, reminiscent of the Ellery Queen stories from the late 1930s with a sports theme, this one centers around a kidnapped boxer, and a plot foiled when Ellery realizes that anyone with any knowledge of boxing would know that a punch with a right hand by a right-handed fighter is called a right cross, and not a right hook.
